Might not be on long, but I had a fun little idea I want to try drawing and I need a break from working. So naturally I’m animating on my break from animating. Makes perfect sense.

There are few things that can really compare to how great it feels to animate at 12am with They Might Be Giants playing at full blast. If the birth of my my first born child isn’t as ethereal of an experience, I’m taking my receipt to the front desk and returning the dumb thing.
I’m going to take a break from this Tali animation.
For a little while. It’s about halfway done and 70 frames is a lot of work to do in your free time. It’s not even inked or colored. Poop.
The worst part about animating in your free time is when you’re so tired of something not being done. It takes so long and you have nothing final to show for it. Plus I’m doing it for the challenge and experience and not for pay, the motivation kind of needs a recharge. I should do something with symbols. Those are about a million times faster to make. Oh wellz.

It’s a little wobbly, but it was basically a speed run… that got side tracked with company and a surprise midnight Del Taco run. But I’m happy with it and I hope you are too!
Also he was really fun and easy to animate. I really want to work on less complicated stuff like this more often. Also the protomen one for livestream.
